Day-01: Delhi Arrival
On arrival at Delhi, met and transferred to hotel by Indus Excursion
representative. On reaching hotel, you will be delivered all travel
related documents like travel vouchers etc. along with required
instructions/briefing for the tour. Do local
sightseeing of must see tourist spots of hustling & bustling Delhi
city.
Delhi city has many faces to watch. Local sightseeing tour of Delhi
can be divided into two phases: in first phase visit Old Delhi area
which covers World Heritage Site Red Fort, Jama Masjid (large mosque),
Rajghat (place where Mahatma Gandhi was
cremated), rickshaw ride of Chandini Chowk,
World Heritage Site Humayun Tomb etc. Old Delhi was founded by Mughal
emperor Shahjahan and was originally given name "Shahjahanabad".

Day – 02: Delhi - Agra (220km/04:30hrs)
After breakfast, we will drive to drive to South-East of Delhi, to
reach Agra. On the way to reach Agra, we will pass through Mathura
city, play-ground of Lord Krishna. Road from Delhi to Agra is well
maintained and frequented by heavy traffic. We will reach Agra city in
afternoon at lunch-time. After having lunch, proceed to Taj Mahal tour.
TAJ Mahal is a mausoleum of Mughal emperor Shahjahan's wife
Mumtaz Mahal who died in year 1631 after giving birth to the 14th child of Shahjahan in Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh in Central India. Later, after death of Shahjahan, he was also burried their. It is situated on the bank of Yamuna river. Taj Mahal is
one of the most visited tourist place in India.

Day – 03: Agra - Jabalpur (Overnight Train)
Continue Agra city tour in the day-time. Visit UNESCO World Heritage
Site: Fatehpur Sikri in first half of the day. It is a deserted Mughal
city of red-stoen at about 35kms from Agra city. It was one time
capital of Mughal dynasty during reign of Emperor Akbar. After lunch at
hotel, do sightseeing of another World Heritage Site: Agra fort, close
to Taj Mahal,
on the bank of Yamuna river. Agra fort was the grand fort of Mughal
Dynasty and was used by many Mughal Emperors. Later in evening, drive
to Agra railway station to board overnight express train for Jabalpur
Railway Station to further drive to Kanha National Park.

Day – 04: Jabalpur - Kanha (165km/04:00hrs)
On arrival at Jabalpur railway station, drive to Kanha National Park which is at the South-East direction of Jabalpur city in Satpura Maikal Hills of Central India. Drive to Kanha Park passes through Teak wood jungles and tribal villages. On the way to Kanha, we will take small interval halt of 15 mins. at M.P. Tourism Hotel in Tindini village close to Mandla city, about 90 kms from Jabalpur city. Here we can have tea/coffee and freshen-up for further journey to Kanha. At Mandla city, we will cross the holy Narmada river. On reaching Kanha National Park, have lunch. If we will be on time, we may go for evening game drive or else we can do bird watching in surrounding area of resort. Birds like Jungle Babbler, Baya, Indian Myna, Indian Roller, Pond Heron, Bulbul, Rose-ringed Parakeet, Kingfisher etc. can be seen easily.

Day – 05: Kanha National Park
Do morning & evening park safari of Kanha National Park. During park safari of Kanha forest we can have sighting of Kanha mammals like Tiger, Leopard, Indian Gaur (Asiatic Bison), Indian Wild Dog (Dholes), Chittal, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Neel Gai (Blue Bull), Wild Boar etc. Kanha National Park was earlier known by the name of Hallon & Banjar river vallery sanctuaries. Hallon & Banjar are the main line-life rivers of Kanha forest. After Indian Independence, in year 1955, Kanha National Park was came into existence. In year 1973, it was one of the first nine national parks of India, included in Projec Tiger of India. Wildlife conservation practices were implemented very successfully in Kanha forest and success in revivaling the population of Hard Ground Barasingha is the living example of it.

Day – 06: Kanha - Bandhavgarh (255kms/06:00hrs)
Take morning game drive of Kanha Tiger Reserve as the last park safari of our tour. After lunch, drive to Bandhavgarh located in North direction of Kanha National Park.
Bandhavgarh National Park is known for tiger density in all over the
world. It is located in Umaria district, at East of Madhya Pradesh
state in Central India. In Tala range of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve,
tiger density is highest in India. It was the private hunting preserve
before 1968 of Royal family of Baghel dynasty, now based in Rewa
district of Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh forest had seen many White
Tigers in past like in 1915, 1948, 1951 etc. Fort, caves & statues
inside Tiger reserve are another attractions. Fort ruins wrapped by
trees & plants are indication of re-forestation process. Here one
can find ancient temples, fort, man-made ponds, statues, caves, scripts
and best view for bird photography. Important areas to visit inside
Bandhavgarh are: Shesh Shaiya, Chakradhara, Sidhh-baba, Andheyari
jheria (Andheyari=dark, Jheriya=cluster of trees), Charger's point,
Sita Mandap etc. Sita and Charger were the most photographed &
popular tiger couple in the world, lived in Bandhavgarh. They
contribued alot in Tiger population of this park.

Day – 07: In Bandhavgarh National Park
Take morning & evening game drives of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. In
between morning & evening park safari, we will take a special
safari ride for Bandhavgarh fort. This fort is located in Bandhav hills
of Vindha ranges, at the height of 811 meters from sea level at the
center of Bandhavgarh forest. Fort safari ride offers great sighting of
whole Bandhavgarh forest from hill-top along with sighting of deserted
historical monuments which includes Bandhavdheesh temple (still
active), Bandhavgarh fort, Kabir temple, 12 water sources (ponds),
man-made rock-cut caves, bird watching point, statues of Hindu gods etc. Bird
watching from hill top offers great bird photography of flying
vultures, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Racked
Tailed Drango, Asian Paradise Flycatcher etc.

Day – 08: In Bandhavgarh National Park
Take morning & evening game drives in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
During our game drive we will some of the popular areas inside
Bandhavgarh forest like Sidh-baba, Sita Mandap, Chakradhara, Badi Gufa,
Shesh-shaiya, Gopalpur Pond etc. Chakradhara in Bandhavgarh is
generally lies in territory of dominating male of the forest. Sita
& Charger (Tiger pair) were the most popular tigers of Bandhavgarh
and were main characters documentary on Bandhavgarh Forest. Sita &
Charger contributed great in Bandhavgarh Tiger Population. Bandhavgarh National Park will always remain indebted to Sita & Charges for their contribution to Bandhavgarh Tigers.

Day 09: Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho (265kms / 06:00hrs)
Today we will conclude our Bandhavgarh stay with morning park safari as
the last one. After lunch, we will drive to UNESCO World Heritage Site Khajuraho Temples which is located in North-West of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve at same Madhya Pradesh State in Central India. On reaching Khajuraho town, retire into hotel. In evening, we may attend Light & Sound Show held in temples court where we can hear the speech of Khajuraho information which includes information about Khajuraho history , myths associates with Khajuraho temples etc.

Day 10: Khajuraho - Varanasi (By Flight)
Do morning sightseeing of Khajuraho Temples. Later in afternoon, board flight for holy city Varanasi, in lap of Ganges. Varanasi city is the best place to understand Hindu religion rituals & culture. Varanasi got its name derived from two small ancient rivers called "Varuna" & "Asi". On reaching Varanasi airport, transfer to Hotel. Visit Varanasi ghats to capture beautiful images of evening aarti. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: In Varanasi
Do morning boating on river Ganges to watch sunrise on Ganges. Later proceed for local sightseeing of Varanasi city. During sightseeing visit Kashi-vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Banaras Hindu University, Handloom industry and their products etc. Attend evening Aarti at Ganges. During visit to Hindu temples in Varanasi, avoid using leather items like belt, shoes, purse etc as due to religious believes, carrying leather items is prohibited. Evening Aarti is performed to praise holy river Ganges (Ganga) and was held at around 19:00hrs in evening by using lighted lamps which make the whole scene very photogenic.

Day 12: Varanasi – Delhi (By Flight)
After breakfast proceed for Buddhist pilgrimage site Sarnath, about 12 kms from north-east of Varanasi city. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha gave first sermon. It was the deer park during that time. Places to visit in Sarnath are Chaukhandi Stupa, Sarnath Archeological Museum, Ashoka Pillar, Dhamek Stupa, Dharamarajika Stupa, Jain Temple, Tibetan Monasteries etc. After lunch, proceed towards Varanasi Airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, transfer to hotel.

Day 13: Delhi – Departure
Begin the day with city tour of Delhi, the capital city of India.
As we have already traveled Old Delhi, so we will visit New Delhi in this turn. Sir Edwin Lutyens contributed alot by his engineering skills in making of New Delhi due to which New Delhi is also sometime called Lutyens New Delhi. Lutyens desighned India Gate, President House and Indian Parliament House. We will visit them to analyze the work of Sir Lutyens. In spare time, we may go for shopping or we can visit Temples of Delhi like Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, Laxmi Narain Temple, Isckon Temple etc.
